Welcome to patriss.shop, these Terms & Conditions of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. By using this site and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We recommend that you read them carefully before placing your order.

1. General Information

The online store patriss.shop is operated by PatrisS, CVR/VAT DK45662306 (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company based in Denmark, European Union, and is responsible under Danish and EU law.

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you ans PatrisS.

All products are designed by PatrisS in Denmark or in France and printed in Europe. To ensure the best service and optimal production times, we partner with printing companies in Europe (Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and UK).

2. Ordering & Contract

To shop with us, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and have the permission of a parent/legal guardian.

  • Product selection: You select Products and place them in the shopping cart. By submitting your order, you make an offer to purchase the selected Products.

  • Order confirmation: Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. A binding purchase agreement is only formed when you receive an order confirmation from us. Until then, we may accept or reject orders for any reason.

  • Errors and order acceptance: We reserve the right to cancel orders in the event of stock issues from our printing and framing partners, obvious pricing inaccuracies, technical issues or suspected fraudulent activity.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Prices: All prices are displayed in the currency selected on the site.

  • VAT: Prices include VAT where applicable. For customers within the European Economic Area, VAT is automatically calculated based on the rate of your country.

  • Custom taxes: Customers outside the EEA are responsible for any local custom duties and import taxes.

  • Secure payment methods: We accept major credit cards and other secure payment methods as displayed at the checkout. Payment is debited from your account when the order is processed for production.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We can deliver worldwide. Our webstore is based in Denmark and is mainly operating within the European Economic Area, but capable of delivering worldwide. If ever your country is not listed at checkout, please send us an email at info@patriss.shop, we will check if delivery is possible for your country.

  • Shipping costs and estimated delivery time are calculated at checkout:

    • The average delivery time is generally around 4 to 7 days. This is just an indication, delivery times can vary due to factors such as location, product type and dimensions, production, shipping partner and method...
    • Shipping rates depend on the delivery address and product dimensions/weight.
  • Packaging: All our products are carefully packaged and protected in sturdy boxes.

  • Large orders or orders with multiple items/different product types may be shipped in multiple packages and arrive separately. In that case, you will be able to see multiple tracking links for your order.

  • Receiving Your Order & Damaged Package/Goods:

    • IMPORTANT: Check your package upon arrival. If the packaging is visibly damaged, crushed, or opened when the courier attempts delivery, you should refuse to receive the package, and expressly indicate the reasons for refusal to the courier, in order for them to note the damage in their system. By refusing a damaged package, it is returned to us at the carrier's expense, and we can initiate a replacement for you.
    • External damage (visible upon delivery): If you choose to accept a package that shows visible signs of damage, please ensure that the courier notes the damage in their system before you sign for it. Take photos of the damaged packaging before opening it.
    • Internal damage (hidden damage): If the packaging looked fine, but the product inside is damaged, you must contact us at info@patriss.shop within 24 hours of receiving the package. To process a damage claim, we require:

      • Your order number
      • Clear photos of the damaged product
      • Clear photos of the packaging (even if the packaging looks undamaged)

      Once we have received the information and verified the damage, we will do everything possible to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

    • Missing or incorrect item: If your order is incomplete or you have received an incorrect item, please contact us at info@patriss.shop. Please include your order number along with a short description and a photo of the issue, we will proceed with the correction as quickly as possible.
    • Uncollected or refused packages: If a package is returned to us due to failure to collect from parcel shop, incorrect address or refusal to accept delivery, we reserve the right to charge a fee from any refund, for covering the return shipping and administrative handling. We will as well charge a new fee in case of reshipment.

5. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

5.1 Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your goods.

  • Notification: You must notify us at info@patriss.shop within 14 days of receipt if you wish to cancel your purchase, providing the following information:

    • I hereby give notice that I wish to withdraw from my purchase: [Insert Order Number]
    • Ordered on: [Date] / Received on: [Date]
    • Name of consumer: [Name]
    • Address of consumer: [Address]
    • Date: [Current Date]
  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, undamaged condition and in the original packaging.

  • Return Shipping: We are sorry to inform you that we do not provide prepaid return labels for the moment. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. We recommend using a tracked shipping service. It is the best way to ensure your return reaches us safely, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. Return address:

  • Refunds: Once we have received your return package and verified the items, we will refund the purchase price (excluding return shipping). We reserve the right to decline returns that arrive damaged or do not meet the criteria listed above.

5.2 Cancellation & Order Modification

We highly recommend reviewing all your order details, including items and shipping information, before proceeding to checkout to prevent any errors. However, if you identify a mistake in the product or address afterwards, or if an order needs to be canceled for other reasons, it is possible to do so only if the order has not been sent in production for printing.

You must send us an email as quick as possible at info@patriss.com, in order for us to see if it is not too late to cancel your order. Mind the time zone (CET) and public holidays.

Once an order's status progresses beyond production (meaning it has been printed or shipped), modifications or cancellations are no longer feasible. The order will proceed to be printed as initially placed. In that case, you will have to use your right of withdrawal.

6. Warranty

If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 2-year warranty on all products.

  • What it covers: This covers manufacturing defects like printing errors (ink bleeding, misalignments) and material faults that were present at the time of delivery.

  • What it does not cover: This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by, including but not limited to: mishandling, failure to comply with installation instructions, improper use, hanging, framing, sunlight exposure over time, accidental tears and scratches, or normal wear and tear...

  • Process: If you discover a defect, you must notify us within a "reasonable time" (within 2 months is always considered timely).

  • Remedy: Email us a clear photo of the defect and your order number at info@patriss.shop. If the claim is justified, depending on the specific situation, we will offer a replacement, repair, refund, or price reduction.

If you have a complaint about your purchase, please first contact us at info@patriss.shop in order to find an amicable settlement.

By using the Site and our services, you agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws, or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts.

  • Attempting to interfere with or disrupt the website’s security or functionality, as well as servers or networks.

  • Upload or transmit viruses, ransomware or any other type of malicious code.

  • Collect or track the personal information of others or scrape data from the site by using bots or any automated tools.

  • Circumvent or manipulate checkout restrictions or limitations.

  • Infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the rights of others.

  • Reproduce, duplicate or exploit our content for unauthorized commercial purposes.

  • Using our products for any unauthorized commercial resale.

Violations may result in termination of access and legal action.

9. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including designs, artwork, graphics, logos, images and text, is the exclusive property of PatrisS.

You are strictly prohibited from copying, modifying, reproducing, distributing, reselling, or using any content or PatrisS' designs/artwork for any commercial purposes without prior written consent. Any infringement will be met with legal action.

Respect for Artists and their Creative Work

All PatrisS' designs and artwork are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Plagiarism, like copying, reproducing, or using PatrisS' artworks, including printing them yourself or having them printed on your own, is considered infringement and unfair use of creative work, and is strictly prohibited.

Respecting these rights helps support independent creators and allows Artists like PatrisS to continue producing original work.

10. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

10.1 Accuracy

We make every effort to offer you the best quality printing. Please take a moment to review the following details:

  • Product presentation photos on a grey background aim to display colors and details as accurately as possible; however, they are shown in low resolution in order to prevent copying.

  • Screens display a larger amount of noticeable colors and shades than it is generally possible to print.

  • Each screen has different built-in and/or personal settings (brightness, contrast, colors, saturation, etc). Also mind that the blue light filter or night mode, if activated, may noticeably change the display of your screen. For these reasons, your device may not accurately reflect the actual colors and details of the artwork.

  • Colors generally appear more vivid on a screen than on a printed work. On electronic displays, light comes from the screen (RGB additive color model), while a print reflects the light coming from different sources around (CMYK subtractive color model). This may lead to slight perceptible differences in terms of colors and luminosity, between what you see on your screen and the actual artwork, especially on matte paper. This is not considered a defect.

  • Please note that the color of the natural wood frame can vary due to the nature of the wood. This is not considered a defect. Dark wood frames and black wood frames are both very dark and can be easily mistaken, look carefully while selecting.

Claims regarding differences in terms of colors and details, between what you see on your electronic display and the actual artwork, are not accepted, unless there is an obvious printing defect. This also applies to the color of the frames.

10.2 Errors, inaccuracies and omissions

Occasionally there may be information on or in the Services that contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

10.3 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms that applies to your order is the one in effect at the time the order is placed.

10.4 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We do not warrant that the site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

  • PatrisS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our website or products.

  • Our total liability for any claim related to products is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable product.

This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer

11. Force Majeure

PatrisS is not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is compliant with the GDPR.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Denmark.

If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to bring proceedings in your local competent court and benefit from mandatory local consumer protection rights.
